Should Those Caregiving Their Elder Parents Have To Make Career Sacrifices?


Expectant mothers receive leave of absent to take care of themselves and their newborns, but what if your elderly parents fall ill and you need to leave work to take care of them? Currently, there are only 3 states that provide a leave of absence for those to take care of a family member with a “serious health condition”.
