I am hoping someone has advice here. My mother is almost 80 years old, hard of hearing, and has very poor vision, and she’s still driving her car. I fear she is a danger to others. She got a ticket just last week for going through a stop sign, and she told me she never saw it. I am so afraid for her and afraid she may be putting others in danger, not just herself.

She values her independence so much… and no matter what I do, I can’t seem to convince her to “give up the keys.” Does anyone have advice?? I’m afraid of taking more drastic measures because I don’t want to hurt my relationship with her.
