Elderly Dementia Patients Benefit From Visits With Loved Ones

Have you given up on visiting your parent or loved one who has dementia?  Do you feel that they won’t even remember the visit or know who you are?  A survey showed that 42% of the public think that there is no point in staying in contact at this stage.  However, the Alzheimer’s Society says that these visits stimulate happiness, comfort and security.
